Frequently Asked Questions

How do I see what my link looks like on Twitter?
Paste your URL into the tool above and it will show you exactly how your link card appears on Twitter, including the image, title, and description. Twitter uses specific meta tags called Twitter Cards to determine what gets displayed. If your preview looks wrong or is missing an image, it usually means the twitter:image or og:image tag on your page is not set correctly. This tool shows you what tags it found so you can pinpoint and fix the issue before sharing your link.
Is there a free Facebook link preview checker?
Yes, this tool is free and shows you how your link will appear on Facebook along with Twitter, LinkedIn, and Slack. Facebook uses Open Graph meta tags to build the preview card that shows up when someone shares your link. If you have ever shared a link and the wrong image or title showed up, it is almost always because the og:title, og:description, or og:image tags are missing or incorrect. This tool reads those tags and shows you exactly what Facebook will display.
Why is my link preview not showing an image?
The most common reason is that your page is missing the og:image meta tag, or the image URL in that tag is broken. The image also needs to meet minimum size requirements. Facebook recommends at least 1200 by 630 pixels, and Twitter requires a minimum of 300 by 157 pixels for summary cards. Check that the image URL is absolute (starting with https://) and that the image actually loads when you open it in a browser. This tool will flag which tags are missing so you know exactly what to fix.
